CSR Roundtable discusison on ?Corporate and Sustainable living: The role of business and CSR?

With an invited expert speaker on Sustainable Corporate Strategy, the CSR roundtable discussion this time will focus on the role of business from various critical and strategic perspectives. Among them are: developing a balanced view of business ecological footprint, the core drivers on sustainability vis-à-vis CSR projects/green-initiative projects, and a transformational agenda as opposed to a reformist agenda in CSR initiatives. Brief information about speaker:

With over 30 years of industrial experience and after being a CEO of a large Australian fund management firm which manages over a billion dollar of investments, Don Clifton is currently attached with the University of South Australia, teaching an MBA Sustainable Corporate Strategy course. His commercial background is in the financial services sector (over 30 years in that industry) having held a number of senior positions with firms involved in investment funds management, as well as managing his own business. Don Clifton?s current research is on "Sustainability and government - a case study of the South Australian Government". This research involves an analysis of the SA Government's approach to sustainability and the mapping of this approach onto the Sustainable World typology, based on an Ecological Footprint Analysis. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Board Member of Trees For Life.
